The villa is
set in a small village in the upper part of the Valle Gran Rey, at the
start of several excellent walking routes.
It is set in
its own terrace with spectacular uninterrupted views across the
valley, and down the valley to the sea.
The terraced
area around the house is part garden (with bougainvillia, avocado and
passion fruit trees etc), and part vegetable garden (looked after by
the neighbours, who can explain the complex watering system)
The beaches
are about 10-15 minutes by car.
The villa is a restored traditional Gomeran house, subdivided into 2 apartments.
Downstairs: two bedrooms - one double & one twin, large kitchen/living room,
bathroom, a large sun terrace and a garden area. This is available at
£280 per week.
Upstairs one
large double bedroom, bathroom and large living room/kitchen leading
onto a private balcony available at £190/week.
The whole
house can be rented for £390 (sleeps 6-8) or suitable for 2
families (The up- and down- sections are not usually rented at the
same time - ask us for details)
Many walks start from the house. These walks are of many different levels of difficulty from a gentle stroll around the village of La Vizcaina to demanding hikes with thousands of feet of ascent.
There is also a bar/restaurant 10 minutes walk from the house.
